The building that houses the apartments was originally a small hospital that functioned as such for half a century. That explains the large spaces, the robust architecture and the solid massive construction. That is why Kitz Residenz also feels a bit like a fortress; its own, strong character was completely preserved during the renovation. The sanitary and electric facilities and the used materials are of course completely adapted to the demands of today.
