The Hotel Senator Ház in Eger can be found in a delightful 18th-century town house, situated on the historical main square (Dobó tér) of Eger, a few metres from the castle ramparts. Throughout the year many special occasions provide the opportunity to organize gastronomical events at the Senator Ház, like the Carnival Wine Tasting (in February), Easter Ham Parade, May Asparagus Days, Summer Salad Festival, Grape Harvest and Márton Day Feasts. A traditional Advent Tent is raised to end the year where we make our own mulled wine, Christmas punch, baked chestnut and jelly soup.
